Within any senior team, when one member is negatively impacting another, this behavior should be addressed imme- diately as it goes against desired team norms. It is the silent toleration of this behavior that can quickly erode positive team dynamics. In these situations, it can be extremely effec- tive to have an outside coach work with that teammember or the entire team. It is critical for executive teams to pay close attention to their team processes and dynamics. Teams that lose their effectiveness are often times too focused on business to realize they have flawed fundamental team processes that are preventing them from operating at their best.
