A COMPANY NEWSLETTER IS A GREAT way to keep your current and prospective customers up-to- date on everything happening at your bank. Your newsletter should be interesting enough to make people subscribe, but short enough to read over a bagel and coffee in the morning. The content you provide is so important. You need to think like an editor. Usually editors of magazines and newspapers are great at coming up with content ideas. Some ideas for great content for your community banking newsletter are in- cluded below: • A Letter From Your Bank President – Make sure to humanize this article by making customers feel like they matter to the person at the top. • Customer Spotlights – We all like to hear about our peers and what makes them success- ful. • Testimonials – Having cus- tomers tell others why they do business with your bank is very powerful. • Employee Spotlights or Profiles – Personal stories help employees feel like they matter to the organization and com- pany brand. • Frequently Asked Ques- tions – You can bet if one customer has a question, several others want to know the same thing.
