To pique the interest of younger students, the NBA will actively support and participate in K-12 business programs like the Future Business Leaders of America and DECA. Recognizing the important role K-12 teachers have in helping to broaden students’ knowledge and attitudes about careers, the NBA will annually sponsor the Outstanding Business Teacher through the Nebraska Department of Education. The NBA will review technological solutions to allow the NBA to share incoming student resumes with member banks. The NBA plans to add a speakers’ bureau button on the NBA website where schools can request a banker presentation on both banking careers and financial literacy topics. In an effort to engage students earlier in their college years, the NBAwill participate in career planning events like the Employer in Residence programs at various university campuses. The NBAmarketing teamwill find new and creative ways to utilize video inpromoting banking careers inNebraska. While this is not a comprehensive list of action items, it pro- vides you with a look at how the NBA is strategically planning to better engage, recruit and retain Nebraska’s future bankers. As always, we welcome your input and suggestions as our workforce strategy grows and evolves. 
