You will pleased to know that 15 of the 23 graduates of the pro- gram—66 percent—are now employed by Nebraska banks. Other opportunities for interns also exist. The University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) has just started a program for students pursuing a more general banking degree, and a number of banks have provided internships for those stu- dents. We can help you contact the coordinator of the UNK program if you are interested. In the near future, we will be exploring a program similar to the UNK program with representatives of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). Together, we are making a difference.
